Itinerary Detail

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - 1,300m/4,264 ft
Arrival in the Kathmandu airport (KTM) you will be greeted by a representative from Adventure Mission Nepal (AMN) Treks and transfer to hotel. After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc). In the evening we will organize a "Welcome Dinner" at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant with a fine meal and cultural show. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Preparation for the trek
We start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Boudha Nath). In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion about the trek equipment and we can meet the trek leader as well. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 145 km/ 7 hrs
We drive out along the north-western hills of Kathmandu. Enjoy the Himalayan views and mountainous lifestyle through the terraced fields and rustic villages. Continuing further to Dhunche. From Dhunche, we descent down to Syabrubesi.overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 6 hrs
The first day of trekking begin from the Langtang Khola which passes through dense forest and we cross several suspension bridges .the trail follows some up and downs and pass by a teahouses .we stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft): 6/7 hr
The trail continues along dense forest making a steady climb up through the valley by enjoying the view of marvelous Langtang Lirung. Pass by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. Overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 3-1/2 hr
We leave the path of village and continue through yak pastures and pass by largest Mani wall of Nepal which is made from stone by written prayers on them. Cross several of the wooden bridges. Since, we are really getting into the high altitudes; you might start feeling the thin air. So we stay overnight at

Day 07: Excursion to Tsergo RI (5033m/16,508 ft) and back to Kyanjin: 7/ 8 hrs
We make an excursion to Tsergo RI which would also help us to acclimatize. The climb to Tsergo RI which is above 5 thousand meters offers magnificently panoramic views of the Himalayas. Besides, the climb to Tsergo Ri is a challenging one and the climb time also depend upon the speed and experience of guest. We return back to Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 08: Trek to Ganja La phedi (4300m/14,104 ft): 5-6 hr
We embark journey to Ganja La Phedi crossing the Langtang river through ascend of rhododendron forests .Since, we're already in high altitude; the time for getting to our destination also depends upon the season of the trek. Since, during the winter snow, it might take longer time to cross the snow strewn path. We stay overnight at

Day 09: Cross the Ganja La pass (5122m/16,800 ft) Trek to Keldang (4250m/13,940ft): 6/7 hr
We cross the Ganja La pass. Ganja la pass is covered with snow almost throughout the year. Make the long ascent through the boulders, pass the small lakes, and summit the Ganja La which situated on a rocky moraine and one of the difficult pass of the trek. Enjoy the spectacular views from the pass. From the pass, we descend down to Keldang and overnight at

Day 10: Trek to Yak Kharka (4000m/13,120ft): 5/6 hr
Trek to Yak Kharka. From Keldang, we descend further down following a prominent ridge line. We continue losing our altitude through forests, ridges, and grasslands. We stay overnight at

Day 11: Trek to Tarke Gyang (2,590m/8,497ft): 5/6 hrs
The trail would be similar, except that as you descend lower, we will notice more vegetation. We lose altitude considerably about 1500 meters.

Day 12: Trek to Sermathang(2,610m/8,563ft): 3/4 hr
We cross small forest with the view of beautiful village of Helembu region. The trail makes a sweep around the wide valley end between Parachin and the Sherpa village of Gangyul. We stay overnight at

Day 13: Trek to Malemchi Pul Bazaar: Drive to Kathmandu: 3/4 hrs trek/ 2 hr drive
Final trek to Malemchi Pul Bazaar with many Sherpa village. We drive to Kathmandu which takes 2 hrs to arrive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. You can spend the rest time exploring around city or on shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Departure
Approximately 3 hrs before a representative from (AMN) will transfer you to airport for the flight to your onwards destination.
