Kyajo Ri is an easier peak for climbing and a new mountain in the Gokyo valley in the Everest region .The eastern face seen from the Gokyo valley is still a virgin route. Base camp is established at 4600m and Camp I at over 5300m. After three hours walking over a grassy spur and boulders. Technical climbing is required from Camp I to Camp II at 5700m. From Camp II to summit has been rated as French Alpine Grade D. Climbing through this peak one can experience the pleasure of high altitude climbing in a moderate or easier manner.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Fly to Lukla. Trek to Phakding
Day 02: Trek to Namche
Day 03: Rest at Namche for acclimatization
Day 04: Trek to Kisa
Day 05: Trek to Kyajo Kharka
Day 06: Trek to Kyajo Ri base camp
Day 07 -14: Climbing
Day 15: Retrace to Kisa
Day 16: Trek to Namche
Day 17: Trek to Lukla
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 20: Airport transfer for international flight
